The purpose of the Global Justice Committee is:
- To develop awareness within our Union about global labour struggles and the need for international solidarity
- To promote CUPE’s international links (union to union, worker to worker) and to form new relationships, thereby working with our international comrades in the struggle for justice and dignity in Canada and around the world
- To promote and strengthen international solidarity partnerships between CUPE and unions outside Canada
