Join CUPE Manitoba’s 2023 United Way
Solidarity Campaign!

The Canadian Labour Congress, CUPE Manitoba, and CUPE National have all endorsed the 2023 United Way Campaign, and Locals in Manitoba are invited to join CUPE’s efforts to support community during the month of December!

On behalf of the CUPE Manitoba Executive, an organizational gift will be provided to United Way Brandon (includes Portage La Prairie), Winnipeg, and Morden-Winkler.

During the month of December, CUPE Manitoba Executive and Support Staff will be running a campaign alongside the CUPE Regional Staff & Support Staff campaign to build solidarity and efforts for Community! There are great opportunities to have your dollars matched – click here to learn more about matched donations to double your impact.

Locals can join the efforts by:

• Joining your workplace United Way Campaign to bring Labour Solidarity!
• Considering a monetary gift from the Local to the United Way workplace campaign;
• Joining the campaign in your community through direct payroll donation, or a one-time donation, or through participating in activities;
• Speaking up for local United Way causes through events, initiatives, or using social media to share information;
• Inviting the Labour Director from United Way to make connections for members;
• Joining the CUPE Manitoba campaign – through payroll donation, one time gift, and/or through sharing the Solidarity Campaign!
