The CUPE MB Health and Safety Committee holds practical education sessions for members on workplace health and safety issues. For example, it provides training on how to make workplace health and safety committees function. Members monitor changes to provincial legislation and work with the CUPE Manitoba Executive to lobby the Government for improvements in health and safety laws.

The School Division Sector Committee coordinates priorities and builds solidarity among more than 6,000 K-12 education workers in Manitoba and is one of our most active sector committees.
