Health and Safety Committee
The CUPE MB Health and Safety Committee holds practical education sessions for members on workplace health and safety issues. For example, it provides training on how to make workplace health and safety committees function. Members monitor changes to provincial legislation and work with the CUPE Manitoba Executive to lobby the Government for improvements in health and safety laws.

Young Workers Committee
The Young Workers Committee is for members ages 35 and younger. We are the next generation of union activists and we are focused on:
- Getting young workers involved in their union
- Increasing representation of young workers
- Addressing issues that affect younger workers
- Having fun together and holding social events that are welcoming and inclusive

Human Rights Committee
The purpose of the Human Rights Committee is to work towards achieving equality, fairness, and justice in the workplace, the Union, and society at large:
- By the elimination of discrimination, including systemic discrimination, on the following grounds: ancestry, including colour and perceived race; ethnic background or origin; age; nationality or national origin; political belief, association, or activity; religion or creed; sex; marital or family status; sexual orientation/gender identification; physical or mental disability;
- By promoting and educating about employment equity principles, in order to achieve an understanding that special measures may sometimes be necessary to overcome systemic discrimination;
- By encouraging and promoting participation from all the equity-seeking groups at every level of local union and division activity;
- By promoting equity issues in publications and newsletters, encouraging attendance at CUPE Conferences, and access to courses dealing with racism and discrimination;
- By promoting collective bargaining language that deals with Pay Equity, Employment Equity, Duty to Accommodate, and other anti-racism and discrimination issues;
- By working with CUPE Manitoba to lobby all levels of government to strengthen legislation which furthers our equality and human rights goals, and to adequately fund organizations which provide services to members of equity-seeking groups.

Indigenous Council
The CUPE Manitoba Indigenous Council brings together Indigenous CUPE members to work on issues and campaigns that matter to Indigenous members and our communities. We also promote Indigenous cultural events and hold our own social events for Indigenous CUPE members to get together.

Global Justice Committee
The purpose of the Global Justice Committee is:
- To develop awareness within our Union about global labour struggles and the need for international solidarity.
- To promote CUPE’s international links (union to union, worker to worker) and to form new relationships, thereby working with our international comrades in the struggle for justice and dignity in Canada and around the world.
- To promote and strengthen international solidarity partnerships between CUPE and unions outside Canada.

2SLGBTQI+ Committee
The 2SLGBTQI+ Committee is for 2SLGBTQI+ CUPE members (Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, plus) and focuses on issues, campaigns, community coalitions, and events that impact 2SLGBTQI+ workers and community members.

Contracting Out and Political Action Committee
The Contracting Out and Political Action Committee (COPAC) focuses on contracting out and cutback issues, elections, fight back campaigns, workplace contact, lobbying, educational seminars, and town halls.
This committee works with members and locals to push back against privatization and contracting out in Manitoba, to take political action, and to support implementation of relevant convention resolutions.

Women and Gender Rights Committee
The Women and Gender Rights Committee is open to women (in all their diversity) and non-binary CUPE members. This committee focuses on representation, awareness, campaigns, lobbying, coalitions, and events that matter to women and non-binary people, in all their diversity.

The Racialized Workers Committee is open to racialized CUPE members (“racialized” is another term for “people of colour”). This committee focuses on issues, campaigns, coalitions, and events that matter to racialized workers.

The Persons with Disability Committee is for CUPE members who live with a disability or disabilities. This committee is focused on awareness, campaigns, education, community coalitions, and events that matter to workers with a disability.

Charitable Works Committee
The Charitable Works Committee focuses on fundraising for charitable causes that are in keeping with trade union and social justice values.
This includes organizing fundraisers such as the annual silent auction and 50/50 draw at CUPE Manitoba conventions.

Safer Spaces Committee
Since 2022, CUPE Manitoba has been a national leader in implementing Safer Spaces policies and resources at CUPE events. This committee is dedicated to implementing and promoting Safer Spaces policies and resources at CUPE events such as the annual provincial convention.
