The children’s book highlights the wide array of public services that sustain Manitobans and their communities, and the workers who provide them. In Brandon, CUPE represents City of Brandon workers, Brandon School Division support workers, long-term care support workers, workers at Manitoba Hydro, child care workers, and more.
“This new activity book really celebrates the workers in our communities and helps children and youth understand the importance of the work they do right here in Brandon,” said Gina McKay, President of CUPE Manitoba. “We hope this activity book will help inspire all Manitobans to learn more about the people who serve the community.”
CUPE Manitoba is proud to share this free resource as part of its efforts to highlight the importance of public sector workers and public services throughout Manitoba.
