Children’s Activity Book Launch: Brandon – Treaty 2

CUPE Locals and community partners are invited to CUPE Manitoba’s provincial launch of our new Children’s Activity Book, We Work for Manitoba: A Kids’ Activity Book on Public Workers.

Event Details:
Official Brandon Launch on Treaty 2 Territory.

Media will be invited, and light refreshments and snacks will be served.

We will be hosting this official launch ahead of participating in the Brandon Santa Claus Parade at 6pm.

Background: CUPE Manitoba is excited to announce the launch of a new educational initiative designed to help kids better understand the important roles public sector workers play in their communities: We Work for Manitoba: A Kids’ Activity Book on Public Workers.

Through puzzles, mazes, games, and illustrations, the children’s book highlights the wide array of public services that sustain Manitobans and their communities, and the workers who provide them – from educational assistants and health care aides, to school bus drivers and parks workers.

The free activity book is a great educational tool for families, educators, and community groups, providing an opportunity for conversations about public service and community responsibility. The activity book is also now available for free to schools, clinics, and community organizations across the province.
